| What is Beta Glucan? | |
| Based on the result of research and knowledge that has been done about beta(ß) D Glucan, it in the first form is a compound that has been found from the plant’s cell wall, a bacteria and fungi as best as ones those has been made from the high grade plant, but relatively higher are the Oats, Yeast and Mushroom. Glucan is a polysaccharide that has been made from the glucose molecule’s chain. Then beta(ß) is a call of the steric position from the glucose hidroxy group which is included in the form of the chain. beta(ß) 1,3 D Glucan and beta(ß) 1,6 D Glucan are the ones which are usually made. While the numbering 1,3 and 1,6 are based on the position of the glucose’s molecule which is linked with the chain. |

| Beta Glucan’s History and Research Support | |
| In 1940s, a research has been done and it had found a substance which can increase the body’s immune that is called Zymosan and unclearly known until 1960s. Then in 1970s, Nicholas Diluzio in Talune University start to research beta(ß) 1,3 Glucan on a man, then it was tried again by Dr Peter Mansell that the the compound of beta(ß) D Glucan can activate macrophage. In 1980, Harvard Study describe that there is a stimulation that has been caused by the compound beta(ß) D Glucan to increase body’s immune. Besides, some research show that the compound of beta(ß) D Glucan can also activate macrophage to overcome HIV’s infection, complication that has been created by heavy trauma and radiation causes, and it can also increase antibiotic and antivirus effectiveness (Adjuvant effect). | |
| How does it work? | |
| The compound of beta(ß) D Glucan can activate macrophage that will stimulate so the body’s immune will increase. Some research show that the compound of beta(ß) Glucan can also activate macrophage to overcome HIV’s infection, complication that has been created by heavy trauma and radiation causes, and it can also increase antibiotic and antivirus effectiveness (Adjuvant effect). Besides its ability as a Immunoactivator, beta(ß) D Glucan is also useful to be an antioxidant, radio protective (a protection for the radiation effects, such as the radiation that caused by the air travel, X-ray, few times mammograms, the Sun’s ultraviolet ray, computer’s radiation and so on), because beta(ß) D Glucan can activate macrophage to fix and help the process of cell’s generation and damaged organ.
